Build something real.
Win something real.
Short, judged build events where you ship a working project in a weekend, on the clock, with people who will actually look at your code. Come alone or bring a team of up to 4. Every level is welcome.

Are you judge-ready?
Tick what your project already does. It is a simple self-check, not a score.
Simple, and the same for everyone
Teams of up to 4 (solo is fine too).
Build a working RAG-based retrieval/QA system over a dataset of your choice.
Submit a working demo and your source code by the submission deadline — no swaps after judging starts.
Judged on: does it work, code quality, and how much retrieval actually improves answers over a plain LLM call.
Standard code of conduct applies — be respectful, no plagiarized submissions, credit any external libraries or datasets you use.
Test your retrieval instincts
Four quick questions from our RAG courses. Not graded, and they earn XP.

Good to know
Can I take part on my own?
Yes. Teams can have up to 4 people, and solo is fine too.
What do I have to hand in?
A working demo and your source code, by the submission deadline. Nothing can be swapped after judging starts.
Do I choose what to build on?
Yes. You pick the dataset, wire up retrieval, and show that it beats a plain language-model call.
Is it online?
Online events run from wherever you are.
What is expected of participants?
Be respectful, do not plagiarise, and credit any external libraries or datasets you use.
