From application to a job you can apply for

Four phases over one part-time programme. Here's what each one involves, what's expected of you, and what you walk away with.

The journey

01

Apply & assess

A short form and a 20-minute call. We look at your background, your goals and how much time you have, then recommend a track, a delivery format and a starting level. If you're not ready yet, we'll tell you what to do first. No test to cram for.

02

Foundations sprint · ~2 weeks

Everyone levels up on Python, the tooling and the workflow before the track proper begins — including the browser lab, Git, and how we run projects. Strong applicants can test out; beginners get the runway they need so nobody is lost in week one.

03

Build weekly · the track

Each module follows the same rhythm: a live (or recorded) lesson, a guided lab, then a mentor-reviewed project on real requirements. You get written feedback on every submission, plus live review sessions and office hours. The cohort keeps pace with you.

04

Capstone & apply

You scope a capstone on a real brief, build it, measure it, and present it at a showcase. You leave with a documented portfolio, a mentor reference, interview preparation tuned to AI roles, and the live role your programme maps to — ready to apply that week.

What's expected of you

The commitment, honestly

8–12 hours a week

Live or recorded sessions plus project work. Live and hybrid formats run evenings and weekends so you can keep a job.

Ship every module

The project is the point. Falling behind on one is recoverable; skipping them is not.

Ask early

Mentors and office hours exist to unblock you. If life gets in the way, pause and rejoin a later cohort — just tell us.

What you get at each stage

Milestones you can point to

  • After the sprint: a working environment, the workflow, and your first small project.
  • Mid-track: 2–3 documented projects and written mentor feedback on each.
  • End of track: a full portfolio, a presented capstone, a completion certificate, and a mentor who can act as a reference.
  • After: interview prep, CV and portfolio review, introductions where we can, and the role your programme was built around.
